Happy Rakhi Everyone,
Hope you all had fun today. For me it was mixed feeling of celebrating with my Bro and missing my other cousins and childhood days. Now I get to meet them after ages.
Anyways, I thought of sharing my outfit and make details for the day. Here’s a sneak peak.
I wore a anarkali that I got made from my Chiffon Saree. This was one of my fav saree , colorful, elegant and so so damn easy to wear but due to my mistake it was burnt a bit at places. I still wanted to wear it. Hence got it converted to a anarkali.
I wore temple necklace with pearl strings to go with that and add a modern ethnic twist. Bought this from GK Market, Delhi. Added a nice kada style bangles bought long time back from Commercial Street, Bangalore.
Keep my makeup very minimal as I had 5/10 mins to get ready. Just moisturized my skin with Forest Essentials Sanjeevani Day Cream, Added Lakme 9-5 CC Cream. I have never used a CC cream but I am liking this one by Lakme a lot. Blends easily, gives a nice minimal coverage.
For eyes I took Lakme Eyeconic in Shade Brown and smudged a bit. Used Colossal liner by Maybelline to add bit of wings.
For Lips I used Mac Relentlessly Red from their Matt Range. Rakhi Gift bought by bro. This is a beautiful lip shade. A good mix of red and pink.
And to add the final touch I sprayed over Dolce n Gabbana Perfume which is a nice mature women perfume with hint of vanilla. Detailed review/video coming later.
