Singapore is an experience itself. Me and my sweet colleague went to Singapore on Business Travel and we didn’t knew that we had so much fun in store for us.
We stayed in Grand Hyatt hotel, which is at Orchard Road. Orchard road is a posh locality and with almost all big brands around, it feels like you are walking through one big/humongous mall.
Places to Shop:
If you want to shop in Singapore, you can go to Orchard Road for Big Brands or else Bugis Street is one good option for street shopping. Even Chinatown have options. Some people suggested us to go to Mustafa Center, which a a big mall near little India, but frankly we didn’t like it. Marina Bay Sands is another great mall for shopping. The Changi Airport itself is a great option.
And if you ever see Miniso store near you, just go in. It has so many cute bag and other options for such low prices.
Places to Eat:
Singapore offers a huge variety of food options for people who eat Non veg. For Indian Vegitarians, options are bit limited. Little India offers Indian Food varieties. For Non Veg, whole Singapore is at your service. We looked trying out various food options at China Town. Fish and Crabs were Yumm !!
Also, do go to Clarke Quay for great dinner experience by the bay. It is open till 1 PM.
Places to Visit :
Singapore has many places that you can explore. I am listing down the most popular ones.
1. Merlion Park: The mandatory touristy place to visit to get some pics clicked with Merlion. Visit it late at nights, it offers spectacular views and post 11 PM, it offers great calm environment with cool breeze flowing.
2. Singapore Flyer
3. Marina Bay Sands
4. Garden by Bay
since the list is too long, I am planning to do a blog post explaining abt the places to visit
