Wish you all a very Happy New Year 2017. Hope you have a great year ahead. On 31st Night I made this instant and easy Chocolate Cake from Oreo Biscuit which turned out to be pretty great. Sharing the recipe with you all. This is inspired from Komal’s Cake recipe but I have added some twists on mine. I will put the link to her recipe as well.

I love decorating my house with pictures. Pictures bring back your memories and make you smile all over again. One of the best way to put up your pictures is getting them framed in a Canvas. I just love the look and feel of a Canvas Frame. Recently Canvas Champ contacted me and mentioned that I can get any picture of mine canvas framed. So I got this beautiful picture from our Switzerland Trip on printed on Canvas, so that this memory lives in our heart and walls forever:). I choose 8 *12 Frame.
I am really happy with the quality of the print and the canvas frame on a whole.
Wish you a very Happy Independence Day. Hope you are enjoying your long weekend. Friday we had a small celebration in office. Like other the traditional way of celebrating Independence Day in office, it was ethnic day. The girls as usual decided to wear saree. I had this nice orange saree with me, which I had bought during my trip to Mumbai , so I thought of wearing that. Full patriotism you see. It has a beautiful pink blouse with heavy work, but sadly that isn’t ready yet. I don’t trust Bangalore tailors for blouses and have to go back to my Delhi tailor. By the way if you have any good tailor/boutique recommendation in bangalore, drop in your comment.
Morning I had an urgent meeting so I decided to get ready in office, post that. So here is my 5 mins OOTD. Hope you like my 5 mins make up look.
As a teenager, One of things that I wanted to gift myself was “Laser Treatment”. I always had this dream that once I start earning I will gift this to myself. However over the years I just forgot about it or the heavy price tag/doubts in my mind holded me back.
One day my friend was sharing her friend’s happy laser treatment experience and that made me realize, oh “that was my dream”. I went home, thought about it and called up Kaya Skin Clinic. Since laser is a bit risky thing and since I was getting it done for first time, I wanted to go with a renowned brand. Thus KAYA only come to my mind.
I am one of the girls who loves getting pedicures, manicures. Before marriage, this is one of my regular tasks. I love being pampered and let’s admit it who doesn’t !! Somehow after marriage my visits to salons/parlors have decreased. Not that I don’t have time but …. . Hmm..I really don’t know the answer. But I still make sure that I don’t have cracked heels. I really dislike cracked heels and never understand why girls stop taking care of themselves, once they get married. Yes, priorities change, but common why stop looking good 😀
I am going to try and keep this concise. The purpose for this post is to help fellow travellers to Bannerghatta National Park on how and what to do!
How to go?
You can drive via NICE road.
Drive through the city through Bannerghatta road: I took this road as I left early enough on a weekend morning to avoid city traffic 🙂
Take city buses – Volvo AC and non AC buses both ply to Bannerghatta National Park.
Since I took Bannerghatta Road, I had an option to breakfast in A2B near IIM. Its advisable to not to stop for breakfast before you are almost out of city. Else as day builds up so does traffic. There are many eating outlets near IIM area like McD, Fasoos, KFC etc. But once you are past Cinepolis, you may struggle for a decent place for food. Bannerghatta National Park itself has snacks outlets but none for a proper breakfast 🙂
I was out of city quick enough for any traffic. I left home around 8 in morning. Stopped for breakfast in A2B. The drive through Bannerghatta Road isn’t as pleasurable as drive on highways but it saved me some KMs and most importantly I got goooood breakfast :). I reached the park before 10am.
